The terms that apply to this website, and an overview of how care at Stillpoint Health works.

These terms apply to this website and give an overview of how the practice works. They are not the agreement for your care.
Before care begins you will be asked to read and sign the documents that apply to you: the Visit Consent Packet for individual visits, or the Member Onboarding Packet and Membership Agreement for membership care. Those signed documents govern the care you receive, and they apply if anything here differs from them.

01 What Stillpoint Health is
Stillpoint Health is a consultative naturopathic telemedicine practice led by Dr. Michael Palladino, ND. Services may include health education and discussion, clinical evaluation and assessment, interpretation of laboratory and health-related data, and telemedicine-based clinical guidance and follow-up.
Care is intended to support informed decision making and continuity of care over time. It works alongside the rest of your healthcare team, and you are encouraged to maintain an ongoing relationship with a licensed primary care provider.
02 Where services are available
Services are provided in accordance with applicable law, professional licensure and your physical location at the time care is provided. If you are located somewhere care cannot be provided, services may be limited or deferred.
You are responsible for giving accurate information about your location at the time of each appointment.
03 Not for emergencies
Stillpoint Health does not provide emergency medical services, and does not replace primary care, urgent care, hospital-based care or emergency services.
In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency facility.
04 Telemedicine
Care is delivered by telemedicine, which may include video visits, phone consultations, secure messaging and review of information you provide. Telemedicine has real benefits, including convenience and improved access, and it also has limits:

Care is provided without a hands-on physical examination.

Some conditions may not be appropriate for telemedicine. An in-person evaluation, urgent care or emergency services may be recommended when clinically indicated.

Technical failures or interruptions can occur.
Reasonable efforts are made to safeguard privacy and confidentiality. You may withdraw your consent to telemedicine at any time by giving written notice.
05 Your role and outcomes
Participation is voluntary. You retain full responsibility and autonomy for your health decisions. Information, education and clinical guidance are intended to support your understanding and do not compel any particular course of action.
Acting on any recommendation is your decision and your responsibility. Health outcomes depend on many factors beyond the control of the practice, and no guarantees, representations or warranties are made regarding outcomes, results or improvements.
06 Prescriptions and recommendations
CLINICAL DISCRETION
Prescribing decisions rest solely within the clinical judgment of the provider and may be limited by regulatory requirements. Care does not guarantee access to any specific medication, supplement, laboratory test, treatment or prescription.
Recommendations and plans may change based on clinical findings, safety considerations, regulatory requirements or provider judgment. The provider may decline, modify or discontinue any recommendation, prescription, laboratory order or treatment plan when that is clinically appropriate.
SUPPLEMENTS AND THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS
Any supplements or products discussed are optional. You are under no obligation to purchase from any particular vendor. Third-party vendors operate independently of the practice, and no guarantee or representation is made regarding the efficacy or benefit of any supplement or product.
FOLLOW-THROUGH AND COSTS
Recommendations may include lifestyle guidance, supplements, laboratory testing or referrals. You remain responsible for following through and for the associated costs unless otherwise agreed.
07 Fees, payment and insurance
Stillpoint Health does not bill insurance carriers and does not submit insurance claims. You are responsible for all fees and related costs. Laboratory testing is separate, and standard labs are often covered by PPO insurance depending on your individual plan and benefits.
Payments are processed by Stripe. A valid payment method may be required in order to schedule or receive services.

08 Using this website

Participation involves inherent uncertainty, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
10 Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in full force and effect.
11 Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
